This would theoretically reduce the amount of server lag when the player travels across several zones in a short span of time. When players use flight points or use any other method of teleportation, all bots depsawn and won't spawn until the player lands or loads into the zone. Perhaps changing based on the relative need for certain roles when there are dungeons in the zone - allowing players to more easily find roles to complete the available dungeon. Having some of those bots change names, classes, professions, and talent builds relative to their level. When the player moves to a different zone, then the bots in the previous zone would de-spawn or teleport to the zone the player is in. (Westfall bots would be levels 12 to whatever the player's level is). The bots' levels would range from the minimum level required to complete quests in said zone to the player's current level. Instead, bots could spawn only in the zones relative to the players position - spawning and de-spawning as the player moves across zone borders. Given the large scale of the world, trying to artificially capture a large population in relation to the players is difficult when just having a couple of bots wondering in each zone. The issue is that some user's PCs can only handle having maybe a few hundred bots at a time. In SPP, bots are loaded and spawned all across the world. TL DR: Make a solo server that runs well on decent hardware, have bots active in all zones, and make the game feel alive and active without the limitations of player to player interaction. Just some ideas for a potential Solo-WoW experience in reflection to SPP and SoloCraft:
